1 What You Will Do
In this role, you will expand Biena's brand presence with strategic partners through item distribution, ACV, and effective promotional planning, while ensuring excellence in retail execution and compliance. You will also work with Marketing, Operations, and Finance to build strong internal collaborations that align strategy and accelerate results.
RESP: "Sell and optimize Biena Snacks to wholesale customers, ranging from independent natural stores to national or regional retail chains within various channels.Own a diverse book of business spanning Grocery, Natural, Travel, Military, Drug, eCom and Foodservice channels, driving ACV and distribution growth against leadership-defined targets.Articulate the Biena Snacks story, Mission, and Core Values as part of the sales process.Build and maintain strong relationships with category managers, buyers, and broker and distributor partners, providing ongoing training and making recommendations for changes as needed.Build and execute annual promotional plans and strategies thatstreng then customer relationships. 2 Who You Are
The ideal candidate is a seasoned food or beverage sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You bring specific experience scaling a brand
in a competitive landscape and have a deep understanding of how to sell and win across multiple channels. This role is for someone who is a self-starter, holds themselves accountable, thinks strategically about growing accounts rather than just managing them, and genuinely loves food and health.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience calling on buyers and leading sales activities at a food or beverage company.
- Track record of managing and driving high growth at an explosive brand.
- Successful key account management with top retailers such as Publix, Ahold, Kroger, Albertsons, & Sprouts.
- Solid understanding of the food ecosystem with thorough, hands-on experience working with major distributors including UNFI, KeHE and DOT Foods.Deep understanding of the sales process across multiple channels including Grocery, Natural, Military, Drug, Foodservice, Convenience and eCom.

- Demonstrated ability to bring in new accounts and customers.
- Self-starter who is ambitious, and can work independently.
- Proficient with Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Word & Google Sheets.
- History of working with syndicated data, national account portals, and distribution reporting.
- Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time including to Waltham office once a month. Owns a car and has a valid drivers license.
- 4-year college degree preferred.
